How to Use ShopHQ VIP

BENEFITS

With your membership, you receive the following benefits, subject to the terms and conditions below:

Shop at ShopHQ®

  • Unlimited 5% Cash Back on Every Purchase
  • Unlimited Shipping & Return Shipping Refunds

Shop at 1,000+ Marketplace Retailers

  • 5% Cash Back on Purchases from Marketplace Retailers, up to $1,000 per annual membership
  • Shipping & Return Shipping Refunds, up to $500 for shipping and up to $500 for return shipping

Your ShopHQ VIP benefits are available only to you and to permanent residents of your household who are at least 18 years old. In addition, membership benefits are only available to personal, non-commercial purchasers. Any order that is deemed a commercial (non-personal) use or high volume/reseller order, at our sole discretion, will not be eligible.

5% CASH BACK ON SHOPHQ® PURCHASES

As a member, you will receive 5% cash back on every purchase you make with ShopHQ during your active membership. The 5% is based on your order amount (minus taxes and fees). It will be applied to your Savings (a running tally of your cash back and refund earnings) and paid out in the form of a monthly check.Your cash back for all eligible purchases will be paid out on the 15th of the next month. For example, if you make a purchase between January 1-31, your cash back for that purchase will be paid out on February 15th. If you make a purchase on February 1, your cash back for that purchase will be paid out on March 15th. Please note that all mailed claims must be sent and postmarked before the end of the month to be paid out the next month. 

You can earn 5% cash back on an unlimited number of purchases throughout your membership year. To view your Savings at any time, navigate to ShopHQVIP.com/Savings.

How to receive 5% cash back:

Online Orders: Sign in to ShopHQVIP.com. Click “Shop” from the main navigation, then “ShopHQ” from the drop-down. Click the “Shop Now” button and use the new browser tab that opens to shop online as you normally would. For online orders, once ShopHQ lets us know your purchase was successful, your 5% cash back will be automatically applied to your Savings. Phone Orders: After you make your ShopHQ purchase, submit a refund claim through the mail or online and send your dated proof-of-purchase documentation. Refunds will apply to your Savings upon approval. Please note that all mailed claims must be sent and postmarked before the end of the month to be paid out the next month. You may refer to the “How to Submit a Refund Claim” section for details.

Limits & Details:

The 5% cash back is valid on merchandise only. Taxes, shipping charges, extended warranty purchases, and other fees are not included.

5% CASH BACK ON MARKETPLACE PURCHASES

As a member, you receive 5% cash back when you shop with eligible Marketplace retailers. This 5% is based on your order amount (minus taxes and fees). It will be applied to your Savings and paid out in the form of a monthly check. Your cash back for all eligible purchases will be paid out on the 15th of the next month. For example, if you make a purchase between January 1-31, your cash back for that purchase will be paid out on February 15th. If you make a purchase on February 1, your cash back for that purchase will be paid out on March 15th. Please note that all mailed claims must be sent and postmarked before the end of the month to be paid out the next month. 

How to receive 5% cash back at Marketplace retailers:

Online Orders: Sign in to ShopHQVIP.com. Click "Shop" from the main navigation, then “Marketplace” from the drop-down. Select any retailer listed. Click “Shop Now” and use the new browser tab that opens to shop online as you normally would. Just be sure to complete your purchase within the new tab that opens and in that same shopping session. Once the retailer notifies us of your order shipment, we’ll apply your 5% cash back to your Savings. Notification typically occurs within 5-7 days of your purchase shipment, but it can take longer if the item you've purchased is on backorder. Please note that we cannot automatically apply the 5% cash back on purchases made at online retailers labeled “Refund Claim Required.” For these retailers, simply submit a refund claim online to receive your 5% cash back. Please refer to the “How to Submit a Refund Claim” section for details.

In-Store, Phone & Mail Orders: After you have made your purchase from one of our eligible Marketplace retailers, submit a refund claim and send us your dated proof-of-purchase documentation. Please refer to the “How to Submit a Refund Claim” section for details.

Limits & Details:

To qualify for 5% cash back, purchases must be made at the Marketplace retailers listed in your Welcome Kit and/or on the program website. Marketplace retailers are subject to change without notice; to see the most up-to-date list, please sign in to ShopHQVIP.com, click “Shop” from the main navigation, and click the “Marketplace” link. Your cash back for online Marketplace purchases will appear on the Savings page within 5-7 days of your purchase shipment. Cash back earned from Marketplace retailers labeled “Refund Claim Required” will not automatically apply to your Savings. For these retailers, simply submit a refund claim to receive your 5% cash back. This 5% cash back is valid for merchandise only. You can earn up to $1,000 in cash back on Marketplace purchases each membership year. One purchase per retailer per day is eligible for 5% reimbursement. Purchases of gift cards and money orders, as well as purchases using a retailer’s bill-pay service, are not eligible for 5% reimbursement. Additional restrictions may be imposed by each participating retailer. Any orders that are returned or cancelled will not be eligible for 5% cash back. SHIPPING & RETURN SHIPPING REFUNDS

As a member, you can claim an unlimited number of shipping and return shipping refunds on your ShopHQ purchases.

On Marketplace purchases, you can claim shipping refunds of up to $10 per order and receive up to $500 in shipping refunds each membership year. You can also claim return shipping refunds of up to $10 per order and receive up to $500 in return shipping refunds per membership year. Shipping and return shipping refunds will be applied to your Savings and paid out in the form of a monthly check. Your cash back for all eligible purchases will be paid out on the 15th of the next month. Please note that all mailed claims must be sent and postmarked before the end of the month to be paid out the next month.

How to receive shipping and return shipping refunds:

After you make or return a purchase, submit a refund claim along with your dated proof-of-purchase documentation. Return shipping refunds require additional documentation for proof of the return. Please refer to the “How to Submit a Refund Claim” section for details.

Limits & Details:

With your membership, you can claim unlimited shipping refunds & return shipping refunds on purchases from ShopHQ. On Marketplace purchases, you can claim shipping refunds of up to $10 per order and receive up to $500 in shipping refunds each membership year, as well as claim return shipping refunds of up to $10 per order and receive up to $500 in return shipping refunds each membership year. For shipping refunds, proof-of-purchase documentation showing the shipping charge must be dated and submitted within 60 days of your order date. For return shipping refunds, both (a) proof-of-purchase documentation and (b) documentation of the return shipping charge must be dated and submitted within 60 days of the return. Please refer to the “How to Submit a Refund Claim” section for details. Only one return shipping refund can be claimed per original order. Insurance coverage for return shipping of the item is not provided under this program.

HOW TO SUBMIT A REFUND CLAIM

You can submit a refund claim through the mail or online at ShopHQVIP.com. Your proof-of-purchase and return documentation must be dated and submitted within 60 days of your order date or return date. To qualify for a refund, you must already be an active member at the time of your order date or return date.

How to submit a refund claim through the mail:

Mail your proof-of-purchase documentation along with your clearly written name, address, and phone number to ShopHQ VIP Refunds, P.O. Box 290728, Wethersfield, CT 06129-0728. Refund forms are included in your Welcome Kit for your convenience, but you are not required to use them. You can print additional refund forms online at ShopHQVIP.com. You can also call our ShopHQ VIP Customer Service Department at 877-808-4846 to request additional forms.

Please note that all mailed claims must be sent and postmarked before the end of the month to be paid out the next month. Your cash back for all eligible purchases will be paid out on the 15th of the next month. 

How to submit a refund claim online:

Click the “Refunds” link from the main navigation on ShopHQVIP.com. Then complete and submit the electronic refund form. Take note of your claim number or simply copy and paste it into the email subject line of your online submission as set forth below.

Email your proof-of-purchase documentation with your claim number in the email subject line to [email protected] (online submissions only).

Please note that all mailed claims must be sent and postmarked before the end of the month to be paid out the next month. Your cash back for all eligible purchases will be paid out on the 15th of the next month.

Proof-of-Purchase Documentation:

Acceptable forms of proof-of-purchase include any one of the following documents listing the retailer, order date, item(s) purchased, purchase amount, and shipping charge (if applicable):

  • An order confirmation page
  • An order confirmation email
  • A packing slip; or
  • A sales receipt

For return shipping refunds, you must provide two forms of documentation with your claim:

  1. Valid proof of your original purchase, from either the order confirmation or the packing slip, with the price, retailer information, and order date on the document.
  2. A receipt for your return shipment charge that includes the date, retailer information, and the return shipping fee you paid.

USPS receipts that indicate the destination zip code are acceptable. If you returned a purchase using a ShopHQ return label, but you do not have an email address associated with your VIP account, please contact ShopHQ customer service at 1-800-676-5523 for verification of your return shipping charges. We will process your return shipping refund once verification is complete.

SAVINGS

All your cash back, shipping, and return shipping refunds are applied to your Savings page and sent to you in the form of a check. Checks are mailed on the 15th of every month and include all approved earnings from purchases made the previous month. Please allow 7-10 business days to receive your check.

Limits & Details:

You can view your Savings balance and activity at any time by visiting ShopHQVIP.com and clicking the “Savings” link from the main navigation menu. Or, you can check your Savings balance and activity by calling our ShopHQ VIP Customer Service Department at 877-808-4846.

Should you cancel your membership, you will receive a check for the amount remaining in your Savings after your earnings are approved. Your cash back for all eligible purchases will be paid out on the 15th of the next month.
